Salon Cancellation and Lateness Policy

At District Hair, we understand that sometimes schedules change and you may not be able to make your appointment.  No problem!  We have recently changed our text messaging system to send out reminder texts two days prior to appointments to allow plenty of time for you to cancel should you not be able to make it!  This also makes time for your stylist or esthetician to reschedule another guest in that time slot.   

If you need to cancel, we kindly ask that you do so by noon, the day before your appointment.   For appointments canceled after noon the day before, a credit card will be required to hold future appointments and charged 50% of the service in the event of a last-minute cancellation.   

*Please note that appointments made for same day service require 4 hours notice of cancellation. 

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule your appointment if your service cannot be completed in the time frame available.  All attempts to reschedule will be made.  If we do not hear from you 15 minutes or more into your appointment it is considered a No-Show, and a credit card will be required for future bookings, and charged 50% of the service missed. 

We understand that emergencies happen that prevent 24 hours notice for cancelling or rescheduling.  Salon guests are given one grace appointment per year for last minute scheduling changes, cancellations, or no-shows.
